Romantic Mallorca Destination Wedding Inspiration at a Spanish Finca

08/03/2026

Mallorca has become one of Europe's most sought-after locations for couples dreaming of a destination wedding. With its golden Mediterranean light, historic fincas and breathtaking landscapes, the island offers the perfect setting for an intimate and elegant celebration.

While this was a styled wedding shoot rather than a real wedding day, it allowed our creative team to design something truly special and explore ideas that could inspire couples planning their own Mallorca destination wedding.
Together with an incredible group of wedding vendors, we created a romantic wedding concept at the beautiful finca Sa Casa Bona, surrounded by olive trees and the quiet beauty of the Mallorcan countryside.

Arriving at the Finca

The day started with arriving at the finca and taking in the peaceful surroundings. Before the shoot began, we walked through the venue together and discussed where each part of the setup would take place.

The finca offered so many beautiful corners – from the courtyard to the views of the surrounding mountains and olive groves. It quickly became clear that every part of the venue had the potential to create stunning wedding imagery

Getting Ready Moments

We began with the getting ready preparations. While the bride was getting her hair and makeup done by Irena Macijauskiene, Tom (Videograph) and I started capturing the details.

The beautiful stationery by AK Papeterie immediately caught our attention. Using the soft Mediterranean sunlight and the shadows of nearby palm trees, we styled the paper goods to create elegant and artistic detail shots.

Shortly after, we photographed the wedding dress by Amorell Dreams, carefully hanging it where the light could highlight its delicate fabrics and movement.

Meanwhile, the groom was getting ready in another room of the finca, creating the perfect opportunity for relaxed and natural preparation photos.

Under the Mediterranean sun, love feels a little more magical.

A Romantic First Look in the Courtyard

One of the most emotional moments of the day was the first look in the finca's courtyard. Surrounded by the warm stone walls of the property, the couple saw each other for the first time.

Even though this was a styled shoot, the moment felt genuine and full of excitement.

The Ceremony Setup

The ceremony design created by Palma Eventos was both elegant and relaxed. A beautiful seating area with a couch and carefully arranged florals created an intimate ceremony space.

Our celebrant from Dybiec Wedding led a symbolic ceremony where the couple exchanged rings from Einzigartiger Schmuck and shared personal words with each other.

Even without a real wedding timeline, the atmosphere felt emotional and authentic.

Celebrating love, one bite at a time.

Wedding Table Inspiration

While the ceremony was taking place, the team prepared the reception table.

Set against the backdrop of Mallorca's mountains and olive groves, the table design felt effortlessly romantic. The combination of elegant tableware from Exclusive for Events, delicate florals and the refined stationery created a cohesive wedding aesthetic.

Interestingly, pampas grass was also included in the floral design. While dried flowers have been trending for years and are sometimes considered "out", this modern interpretation blended beautifully with the romantic yet slightly boho atmosphere of the setting.

Wedding Cake Moment

Of course, no wedding celebration would be complete without cake.

The elegant cake by Tarta Mania Mallorca perfectly complemented the design of the day. After cutting the cake, the couple enjoyed a relaxed moment together – another small but beautiful highlight of the shoot.

Sunset Portraits by the Sea

To end the day, we drove to the coast for sunset portraits.

The golden evening light and the Mediterranean landscape created the perfect backdrop for a romantic couple session. The bride looked stunning in her Amourelle gown, while the groom's relaxed style perfectly balanced the elegant look of the shoot.

As the sun slowly disappeared over the sea, it was the perfect ending to an inspiring and creative day.

Mallorca offers endless possibilities for couples dreaming of a destination wedding in Spain – from intimate finca weddings to celebrations overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

If you are planning your own Mallorca destination wedding and are looking for a photographer to capture your story in a natural and timeless way, I would love to hear about your plans.
